Season XIII: Support American Contemporary Ballet

Season XIII: Support American Contemporary Ballet image

Support “...one of America’s most adventurous and exciting ballet companies" (Jim Svejda, KUSC) as we celebrate our 13th season. ACB is creating a future for ballet in the 21st century, and providing Los Angeles with its own unique and vital voice in this art.

Why Support ACB?

  • ACB performs exclusively to live music, a rarity in today’s ballet world, through partnerships with some of the finest musicians in the city.
  • ACB redefines the ballet experience by placing audiences up close at stage level in spectacular locations, creating an intimate and immersive connection to the art.
  • ACB honors classical ballet’s legacy while adapting it into performances that are relevant and entertaining for modern audiences.

What Does My Donation Do?

  • Supports pointe shoes for our dancers. The company will spend $50,000 dollars this year on pointe shoes, which will still provide only half the amount that the dancers actually need. Let’s get the dancers their shoes!
  • Funds dancer salaries, ensuring we attract and retain exceptional talent.
  • Helps create new works, like The Rite and Sapphires, and perennial favorites like The Nutcracker Suite.
  • Keeps live music in ballet as a core element of our performances.
  • Delivers the intimate performances LA loves.

American Contemporary Ballet offers a cultural experience unlike any other. It is truly one-of-a-kind. By supporting ACB, you play a vital role in producing a ballet experience worthy of representing Los Angeles, the creative capital of the world.
